The Job Opening pages provide a single point from which you can complete many recruiting tasks. Four pages make up the Job Opening (HRS_JO_360) component:

You access the Job Opening pages through the Find Job Opening page. All of the Job Openings pages display basic information about the job opening. You can use the icons at the top of the page to perform other tasks such as; creating new job openings, saving information, cloning job openings, screening applicants, and managing interviews

Displays the next job opening in the Find Job or Browse Jobs list.

Object name not available.

Add an attachment.

Add Expenses

Add a job expense.

Review or edit job opening details.

View Drafts

Displays only your draft job openings.

Find Job Openings

Displays the Find Job page.

Job Openings

Define how you want the list of job openings to display by selecting three different options. Click the refresh icon when you change the display settings.

Job Opening

Click the link to display the Job Opening page.

Select Action

Select an action from the list. Valid option is Add Note.

Create New Job

Displays the Enter Primary Job Opening Information page.

Find Job Postings

Displays the Basic Search page.

Access the Job Opening - Manage Applicants page.

Applicants

You can view the list of applicants according the various applicant dispositions.

Job Openings

This group box displays the applicants linked to the job opening according to the disposition you selected above.

Applicant Name

Click the link to display the Manage Applicant page.

Status

Click the link to display the Disposition Details page.

Resume

Click the link to display the Manage Applicant - Applicant Resume page.

Take Action

Select one of these actions:

  • Create Interview Evaluation

  • Forward Applicant

  • Link Applicant to Job

  • Manage Interviews

  • Pre-Employment Check

  • Prepare for Hire

  • Prepare Job Offer

  • Reject Applicant

  • Route Applicant

  • Send Correspondence

Access the Add Note page.

Audience

If you want the note to be seen only by the originator, select Private. If you want to note to be seen by anyone, select Public.

Access the Browse page.

Locate the file you want to attach and click Upload.

Access the Add Expenses page.

Job opening expenses are costs incurred for the job opening, such as costs of advertising or engaging an agency to handle the job opening. If the expense cannot be attributed to a specific applicant, use the Add Expenses page to tie the expense to the job opening.

Expense Code

Select the expense code.

Expense Amount

Enter the amount of the expense.

Charge Date

Enter the date the expense was incurred.

Business Unit

Select the business unit. The default is the business unit associated to the job opening.

Department

Select the department. The default is the department associated to the job opening.

Applicant Name

Enter the applicant name. For job opening expenses, this should be blank.

Description

Enter a description of this expense.

Access the Job Opening - Job Opening Details page.

The page that displays is similar to the page used when the job opening was created. page is similar to creating a new job opening and contains the same template structure. This is used to review the job opening when approvals is used. There are restrictions on who can update the job opening data:
