Understanding the Delivered Standard Multi-Participant OnBoarding Activity Guide Steps

The OnBoarding feature uses the PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface to provide employee’s and their managers with a comprehensive list of tasks that should be completed as part of the OnBoarding experience. The OnBoarding activity guide takes advantage of existing pages in the system and gives workers and manager access to these pages and tasks from a single location instead of accessing several components separately.

Employees begin the multi-participant OnBoarding event process by navigating to the Employee Self Service > OnBoarding Activities Tile (for Employees) while the manager navigates to the OnBoarding Manager Activity Tile. When users access the OnBoarding activity guide, the system displays a series of steps in the left panel with the corresponding page in the right panel to direct them through their OnBoarding steps needed for the employee's OnBoarding process.
