PeopleSoft Customer Behavior Modeling file management enables you to override the default file storage locations by specifying either a fully qualified network path or a URL for an FTP (file transfer protocol) server accessible to the system. You can specify the FTP or file server directory locations for the different kinds of files on the Customer Behavior Modeling File Management page. PeopleSoft Customer Behavior Modeling uses these specifications to FTP or read and write files to and from those locations, rather than default to a directory on the PeopleSoft Process Scheduler server running the current process.

When exporting flat files, the system either writes them to the default process scheduler directory or to the specified shared drive/FTP directory.

When exporting files for the creation of data mining models (that is, profile data exported to Angoss), the system writes the files to the default PeopleSoft Process Scheduler directory or to the specified shared drive/FTP directory. The user then manually imports the file into Angoss to create models.

When exporting files for batch scoring (by Angoss), the system writes the files to the default PeopleSoft Process Scheduler or to the specified shared drive.

Note. The FTP option is not available for this file type.
