Local default node pings ok, but remote node (for another PeopleSoft 8.48 env ) produces the error Authentication token failed   

==== Example: ====
HRMS and Financials environments.  HRMS environment has a local default node called PSFT_HR.  Local default node PSFT_HR pings ok.  In the HRMS environment, there is a remote node called PSFT_EP for the financials environment.   When pinging remote node via the PIA browser,  get the following error message:\\

In the HRMS Application server Log, the message is :

==== SOLUTION: ====
PeopleTools 8.48 enforces more security constraints than the previous tools releases.  The remote nodes now need to be added as a trusted node.  This can be done via **PeopleTools -> Security -> Security Objects -> Single Signon** page
