When using the Feed Publishing Framework, you must configure Integration Broker. This appendix discusses how to:
Configure the IB gateway and node application server.
Configure the service target location.
Configure the default user of the ANONYMOUS node.
Configure the content URI and portal URI node properties.
To configure the IB gateway and node application server:
Select PeopleTools, Integration Broker, Configuration, Quick Configuration.
Enter the machine name in the Gateway URL field.
Click the Ping Gateway button.
The status should return as Active.
Click the Advanced Gateway Setup link.
This opens the Gateways page.
Click the Gateway Setup Properties link and login.
This opens the PeopleSoft Node Configuration page.
Enter the appropriate values in the Gateway Default App. Server fields.
Enter the appropriate values in the PeopleSoft Nodes fields.
Click the Ping Node button.
The status should return as Success.
Click the Return button.
On the PeopleSoft Node Configuration page, click the Advanced Properties Page link.
This opens the Gateway Properties page.
If the web server goes through a proxy server to connect to the internet, enter the proxy information.
Verify that the secureFileKeystorePasswd is correct and encrypted.
Click the OK button.
On the PeopleSoft Node Configuration page, click the Save button.
To configure the service target location:
Select PeopleTools, Integration Broker, Configuration, Service Configuration.
Enter the Target Location value to point to the appropriate IB Gateway.
Save the page.
To configure the default user of the ANONYMOUS node:
Select PeopleTools, Integration Broker, Integration Setup, Nodes.
Open the ANONYMOUS node.
Select the Node Definitions tab and verify that the Default User Id field contains a valid user with limited privileges.
To configure the content URI and portal URI node properties:
Select PeopleTools, Integration Broker, Integration Setup, Nodes.
Open the default local node.
Select the Node Definitions tab and verify that the Authentication Option field value is Password or Certificate.
Select the Portal tab and verify that the Content URI Text and the Portal URI Text fields point to the correct database.
Verify that the node type is PIA .
Save the component.
