Using PeopleSoft Time and Labor for Affordable Care Act
PeopleSoft Time and Labor allows you to track payable hours that are counted for ACA service hours. The enhancements also provide ACA analytical reports that assist in monitoring the hours of the employees. For implementing Affordable Care Act , once the configuration is complete you can start the eligibility process . There are two variations of the process, one for new hires and one for ongoing employees.
You need to decide whether a rehire to treat like a new hire or like an ongoing employee and populate their ACA Employee Eligibility record accordingly.
