Understanding Program Element Mapping

The Program Element Mapping component enables you to add, delete, or modify element assignments to the fields of Application Engine programs. For example, the Global Payroll for Japan program GPJP_YEA_LOAD (Load GPJP_YEA_TABLE) is delivered with the formula YE FM TAX PAY ALL assigned to the GPJP_IT_EARNS field. If you want to assign a different formula or other element to the GPJP_IT_EARNS field, you can do it using the Program Element Mapping component without having to modify the program itself.
