Application Framework Setup for DSN
Déclaration Sociale Nominative’ is the official reporting established by French authorities, consolidating all the information within a single schema, where the information is grouped into multiple blocks.
PeopleSoft uses Application Framework to build DSN feature.
The setups are done in the following different levels:
Application
Node set
Parameters
Nodes
Attributes
SQL Entities
DONs
Datatypes
A concept of versioning on Application Framework setup has been introduced to track the setup.
Versioning is a way to track the setups that were delivered for each release or update and to package changes by the use of a field User Version.
This allows:
To distinguish the changes done by different developers working in the same environment.
To be able to package the changes easily.
To identify which is the latest patch that modified the specific setup.
The field User Version has the same function than the one used in Global Payroll to track the changes on GP Elements.
The field User Version has a different purpose than the field Application Version, which is used to identify the version of the DSN technical book.
You can access the Define Node FRA page (GPFR_DSN_NODE) to view the fields introduced to manage version navigation.
