This chapter discusses:
Contributor Relations overview.
Contributor Relations business processes.
Contributor Relations integrations.
Contributor Relations implementation.
Contributor Relations enables you to enter, track, and maintain biographic and demographic information about your constituents, as well as create and monitor comprehensive strategic and cultivation activity plans for prospects. For all prospects in the system, you can create, manage, and evaluate fundraising efforts such as campaign initiatives, membership programs, and volunteer activities. You can track and acknowledge all types of commitments made by constituents and analyze donors' giving. In addition, you can manage and process gift payments made by credit card and through online giving sessions. Self-service Involvement enables online gifts and pledges for constituents and Self-Service Outreach provides tools for development officers at an institution.
This PeopleBook reviews the concepts behind Contributor Relations business processes and presents procedures for setting up and using this part of the PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions system.
Contributor Relations provides these business processes:
Manage prospects and planned giving prospects.
Manage campaigns and other initiatives.
Enter and process commitments.
We discuss these business processes in the business process chapters in this PeopleBook.
Contributor Relations integrates with these PeopleSoft applications:
Contributor Relations integrations
We discuss integration considerations in the implementation chapters in this PeopleBook. Supplemental information about third-party application integrations is located on the PeopleSoft Customer Connection website.
PeopleSoft Setup Manager enables you to generate a list of setup tasks for your organization based on the features that you are implementing. The setup tasks include the components that you must set up, listed in the order in which you must enter data into the component tables, and links to the corresponding PeopleBook documentation.
