Understanding Alerts
This topic discusses alerts that are processed in batch.
Batch Alert setup and run in the Supply /Demand WorkCenter leverage off of an existing functionality namely, Events and Notifications a part of Enterprise Components. For more information about how to set up and run Alert processes, seePeopleSoft Events and Notifications Framework
Alerts in this group maybe run in real time are listed below with some examples :

Demand Past Ship Date |
View inventory or sales order demands |
On Hold Orders Past Ship Date |
View orders on hold but past or approaching their scheduled ship dates. |
Overdue PAR Replenishment Orders |
View orders from various PAR locations that are overdue. |
Backlog Due To Ship |
View the order backlog due to ship in a certain number of days. This could represent a possible revenue opportunity if you can pull the order forward and ship earlier. |
Demand Not Invoiced |
View all invoiced sales orders and inventory demand already shipped but not invoiced. |
Demand Not Depleted |
View all orders already picked, confirmed, packed, or shipped, but not yet depleted |
Production Past Due |
View production IDs and schedules that are past their due dates. |
Production Pending Shortages |
View all quantity shortages pending in production. |
Intransit Lines Past Due |
View all intransit order lines not yet received, but with an arrival date older than a pre-configured number of days. |
Putaway Not Complete |
View non-interfaced, interfaced, load staged interface, load staged errors and stockroom feedback lines for incomplete PO, Interunit, RMA, and Manufacturing putaways. |
Purchase Orders Past Due |
View purchase order receipts a certain number of days past their due date |
