Using the PeopleSoft Fluid Interface to View FAQ

Employees use the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) tile to access the Frequently Asked Questions page.

Note: If no FAQ is configured by the administrator or if no FAQ is applicable for the logged in user, the FAQ tile is displayed as 1X1 tile.

Navigation:

Click the HR Service Center tile available in the Employee Self Service home page. The Frequently Asked Questions tile is available on the HR Service Center dashboard.

FAQ Tile (Tablet)

This example illustrates FAQ tile for the smartphone.

FAQ tile (Smartphone)

This tile displays a list of questions that are frequently asked by the employees. You can also view all the FAQs by clicking View All.

Use the Frequently Asked Questions page to view a list of FAQ configured by the administrator.

Frequently Asked Questions is a single scrollable page that contains two portions; questions within the topics and “questions and answers”. When the user clicks on any question in the list on top of the page, the page scrolls to the section that the FAQ belongs to.

Note: User can view only the solutions from authorized solution libraries. For more details on defining solution library security, see Solution Library Security section in Finding and Attempting Solutions.

Navigation:

  • Click View All link available in the FAQ tile to access the Frequently Asked Questions page.

  • Click a particular FAQ link displayed in the FAQ tile to access the corresponding answer. The selected FAQ is highlighted.

For example, if you want to view a list of FAQ corresponding to Benefits California, select Benefits California in the FAQs by Topic field. In this case, only the questions corresponding to Benefits California are displayed in the Frequently Asked Questions page.
